Sellers Insight

"My father moved into this flat when he was well into his eighties and had nine very comfortable years there until he needed to go into care. The property was always warm with the off-peak storage radiators and easy to keep clean. He was able to live safely and independently as everything was in reach and walking in the area is easy as it is level by Torquay standards. There was a dry garage close by to keep his car handy and secure for longer trips.

The neighbours all seemed polite and friendly and the shared-freehold committee and their management company seem very hands-on – i’ve noticed recently that they installed lockable bollards to prevent some cheeky school-run parking, CCTV around the exterior of the building, they have just painted all of the garage doors and are in the process of replacing all of the outer doors. The grounds are well-maintained and, in my opinion, the service charges are very reasonable."

Step Inside

From the driveway a step and pathway leads to two steps rising to the security operated communal entrance from where a private front door opens to the 'L' shaped reception hall with intercom for security door and wood effect flooring. High level storage cupboard, airing cupboard housing the hot water cylinder with slat shelving and cupboard above, further cloaks cupboard. The sitting room is a bright room with large window overlooking the front approach and communal garden. Wood effect flooring and feature wooden fire surround and marble effect hearth suitable for electric fire only. The kitchen is fitted with a range of high gloss fronted units and roll edged work tops with inset sink, Space for electric cooker, Bosch induction hob, provision for washing machine, wood effect flooring and window to the front.
