Owners Comments...
We lived here for 38 years, making the house our home. We brought our three children up here and they attended Loddon junior school then went onto Maiden Erlegh Secondary school, 2 of the most popular schools in the wider area. The house is approx half a mile equal distance from each school and both schools are outstanding.
The house is also an equal distance to 2 local lakes for family walks, South lake just over the footbridge by Earley Railway station. The other is Erlegh lake. Both full of fauna and flora, fish and birds.
The house benefits from a South West aspect, with plenty of sunshine throughout summer. The transport links (Bus and Rail) to Reading town centre and all points to the east including London are on our doorstep. Access to the Cinema and a garden centre are also a short walk from the house.
The house is super cosy in the winter with the wood burner. We as a family have great memories of the home and the area.
We hope this will be just as special for the next people who call this house their home.

Step into this gorgeous 1930s semi-detached home, a charming bay-fronted property that has been lovingly cared for by the current owners for over 30 years. It’s one of those homes that immediately feels warm, welcoming, and full of character.
Upstairs, you’ll find three well-proportioned bedrooms, two of which are generous doubles. All bedrooms benefit from fitted storage, making practical living easy. To the rear, there’s a separate loo alongside a beautifully refitted shower room, finished in a very tasteful and contemporary style. Downstairs is where this home really shines. A handy porch leads into a welcoming entrance hall, setting the tone for what’s to come. There are two reception rooms offering plenty of flexibility, perfect for both relaxing and entertaining. The front reception room is bright and spacious, complete with a feature fireplace, while the rear reception room has a cosy log burner, creating the perfect snug space. From here, you flow seamlessly into a lovely conservatory that opens out onto a gorgeous south-west facing garden which is ideal for soaking up the sun.
A spacious, characterful, and much-loved home in a fantastic spot-this one is not to be missed!
