Welcome to Fox Road…
Nesting in a peaceful location and sought after area of Stevenage is our family home – when we viewed, we fell in love with the local amenities of Fairlands Valley Park for the stunning walks and within walking distance to the train station we knew this would make the ideal family home – it hasn’t disappointed.
Upon entering you step foot into the welcoming hallway, there is a cloakroom which is very handy and a very large cupboard which is ideal for additional storage under the stairs.
Leading through into the open plan kitchen/lounge the true heart of this home, spacious light and airy with muted décor the type you can just move in and unpack. This is perfect for family life and hosting friends and family. The kitchen is well equipped, and we have a spacious lounge enjoying views over the private enclosed rear garden.
Our garden is peaceful and tranquil – we have raised flower beds which are beautiful when the flowers are in bloom. We have a patio area to sit out and soak up the sunshine as well as storage shed and laid to lawn. The garden is private and is our favourite place to relax and unwind with a glass of wine on a summers evening.
On the first floor we have two good sized bedrooms with an en-suite to the master bedroom. We have our main family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.
During our time here we haven’t had to do much as the property is only 8 years old. We have added solar panels to the roof making the home more energy efficient as well as cheaper bills! We have also added an electric car charger so the cars can be charged when parked on the driveway. We did also board out the loft for additional storage.
Our home is perfectly situated in a sought-after area of Stevenage. We are in the catchment area to excellent local schools as well as a short walk to Fairlands Valley Park ideal for activities and enjoying the sunshine. We are also a short walk around 12 minutes to the train station with its high speed links to London within 30 minutes. There are an array of amenities on the doorstep as well as the retail parks offering various restaurants, shops as well as marks and spencer’s. This area really does have so much to offer, our neighbours are all friendly and it is just a wonderful place to live. The time has come for pastures new and to let someone else enjoy all this amazing home has to offer.
