***Vendor comments*** "This lovely property was my second home and without a doubt it’s been the most dear to me. After having previously lived in a block of flats. I knew having more space was important for me when buying my next place and this flat ticked all those boxes.
The share of freehold meant I had no service charges or ground rent and being on the top floor meant no disturbance from neighbours upstairs, with the added bonus of having the loft for storage. I have a great relationship with the other share of freeholder downstairs which is another added bonus.
One of the things i’ve loved about the flat is just how bright it is. The sun moves beautifully through the flat throughout the day. The double aspect living room is flooded with morning light, whilst the large kitchen diner is drenched in the afternoon and evening sun. In all directions there are views of the treetops with the added charming chapel across the road which really brings a peaceful feel to the space. Watching the seasons change from the windows has been one of my favourite things about living here.
The flat is perfectly located within walking distance of East Croydon, with fast links into central London, my partner reaches his desk in Farringdon within 45 minutes of leaving home. There are also fast trains into Gatwick and down to the coast. West Croydon is also a walk away where you can pick up the Overground (Windrush Line) making a journey to Shoreditch nice and straightforward. The hospital is also a 5 minute walk away.
This flat has been a home that has grown with me, from a single space to one shared with my partner and now a small family, meaning now we just need something a bit bigger. Living here has been truly special".
