Brickworks says
Tucked into a quiet one-way street in Tottenham, this two-bedroom flat feels welcoming and calm the moment you step inside. It’s bright, airy and blessedly quiet, with high ceilings and period details that give it an easy assurance. The reception room sits behind a generous bay window, thoughtfully screened from the road, making it a lovely place to read, host or simply watch the light shift through the day.
At the heart of the home is a sociable dine-in kitchen; well-sized, unfussy and ideal for both midweek dinners and slow Sunday mornings. The main bedroom is a double, while the second works neatly as a nursery or home office. Outside, there’s a shared garden that’s low maintenance, high charm and just enough green to feel like an escape.
The location is wonderfully well-connected with three stations all walkable. But within two minutes you’ve got everything you need, plus the leafy calm of Chestnuts Park and Downhills Park nearby. Local favourites include Perkyn’s for coffee (and a dangerously good bottle selection), Yard Sale Pizza for what might be London’s best takeaway, and Forks and Green Café tucked at the edge of the park. It’s the sort of neighbourhood that makes everyday life feel that little bit more relaxed and friendly.
The owners say
We’ve loved living in this flat. It’s bright, airy and has a sunny garden. The main bedroom is really quiet and calming, and we’ve enjoyed using the good-sized kitchen-diner (we love to cook!) and the lounge is a great place to relax in later on, as it gets the evening light. It’s hard to believe how close the flat is to West Green Road, as hardly any cars drive down Abbotsford Avenue and we can always find a parking space.
We also have absolutely loved the sense of community on Abbotsford Avenue, and Tottenham more broadly. We have a great upstairs neighbour, and have had people on the street over for dinner, gone for café trips together, and made a few friends for life. We will really miss living in this flat, but know that whoever moves in next will find a lovely home in a wonderful local community.
