What the owner loves
As soon as I first walked in, I was struck by how bright and spacious the hallway felt-it really sets the tone for the house. It’s been a very happy home for us, with generously sized rooms throughout and a real sense of space-even with teenagers in the house, it never felt crowded. The bedrooms on the first floor have been particularly convenient, each with their own en-suite, which made day-to-day living so much easier.
The kitchen is separate and well laid out, with a lovely window looking out onto the street, which brings in plenty of natural light.
I’ve always loved the peaceful outlook over the cricket club and the nearby green spaces, while still being only about a 10-minute walk to Ealing Broadway, with its lovely mix of shops, cafés and everyday conveniences. Since the Elizabeth line opened, it’s also become incredibly convenient for getting into central London and reaching Heathrow quickly.
Why we’d buy it
There’s a quiet confidence to this house. It does not try too hard, but it delivers exactly what most growing families are actually looking for.
Firstly, the proportions are excellent. Nearly 1,850 sq ft across three floors gives you genuine flexibility. Two large en-suite bedrooms on the first floor is a real luxury, not something you often find in this style of home, and the top floor gives you options. Three further rooms means bedrooms, office space, or a mix of both without compromise.
The reception space is another standout. At over 18 ft wide and opening into the conservatory, it is made for real living rather than just looking good in photos. Yes, some buyers may choose to modernise or reconfigure over time, but the footprint is already doing the heavy lifting.
The south-facing garden is a big tick. Low maintenance, private, and directly connected to the house. Add in the garage and off-street parking to the rear, and you have the practicality that so many central Ealing homes lack.
And then there is the location. Woodville Gardens sits in one of Ealing’s most established pockets, right by the Cricket Ground. You are within walking distance of Ealing Broadway, multiple stations, and some of the area’s most sought-after schools. It is the kind of address people move to and stay in.
