Immaculate 3 Bed Detached Home With Garage, Driveway And Modern Finish In Prime Location

Sellers View

i’ve always found it a really easy and pleasant place to live.

The layout works without you having to think about it too much, and the house gets a nice amount of light which makes it feel comfortable all year round. It’s been somewhere that’s simple to keep on top of, which has definitely helped over time.

Location wise, it’s been really convenient. You can get to the shops easily, and there are a few nice places nearby that you end up using regularly, especially Castle Bottom for walks and seeing wild horses. The commons have been a big plus as well, especially for getting out for a walk without needing to go far. I can nip to Waitrose when I need too which has also been a real bonus.

This has been a really enjoyable family home, and although it will be difficult to leave, it would be really lovely to sell to another family who will enjoy it as much as us.

Jack’s Comments

Vigo Lane is a home that’s been consistently well looked after, and that shows straight away. It’s clean, modern and has a really tidy feel throughout, with a layout that makes sense for day-to-day living.

Downstairs is well balanced. You’ve got a separate living room at the front with a bay window and doors out to the garden, which gives it a nice connection to the outside. There’s also a defined dining space, which works well if you prefer having that separation rather than everything being open plan. The kitchen / breakfast room sits at the back and is a good size, with plenty of storage and space to sit and eat, as well as direct access out to the garden.

Upstairs, all three bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, which makes a big difference in how usable the space is. The main bedroom has its own en suite, and the main bathroom is positioned to serve the other two rooms and has been really nicely done, with natural light coming in which keeps it feeling bright.

Outside, the garden sits to the side of the house, which is slightly different but works well in practice. It gets a good amount of sun and has been set up with block paving, so it’s easy to maintain and flexible depending on how you want to use it. There’s gated access from the driveway, which is useful for parking or storage, and the garage can be accessed both from the front and the garden, with power and additional storage space in the eaves.

The position on Vigo Lane is another plus. It’s a non-estate setting, so it feels a bit more open, and you’re within easy reach of Yateley Common and Castle Bottom for walks, while still being close to the town centre, shops and everyday essentials.

It’s a home that’s been kept in good order, with a layout and location that work well without needing much thought.

Area View – Vigo Lane, Yateley

Vigo Lane sits in a non-estate part of Yateley, which gives it a slightly more open feel compared to some of the surrounding developments. It’s a well-regarded spot, mainly made up of similar detached homes, and tends to appeal to buyers looking for something a bit more settled.

One of the main draws is how close you are to Yateley Common and Castle Bottom. Both are within easy reach and offer some of the best walking routes in the area, whether it’s for a quick loop or something longer at the weekend.

Yateley itself has a good mix of everyday essentials, including Waitrose, independent shops and a handful of pubs and cafés that people tend to stick with. For anything further afield, you’ve got quick access into Camberley, Fleet and Wokingham.

For families, there are a number of well-regarded schools nearby, including Yateley School, along with local primary options, all within easy reach.

For commuters, Blackwater and Sandhurst stations are both nearby, and there’s straightforward access onto the A30 and M3/M4 with great train links.
