One of the things we have always loved most about this home is the fantastic location for families and day-to-day living. The local schools are excellent, there is safe walking access to nearby shops including Asda, great local sports facilities for children and families, and a regular bus service providing easy access into Reading.
When we first viewed the property, we were immediately struck by the size and layout. It has always felt like a quiet and cosy “tardis” - far more spacious than you first expect from the outside. We also loved the flexibility the house offers, with the additional space providing potential for a downstairs bathroom, home office or study area depending on what suits a future owner’s lifestyle best.

This apartment really is deceptive as it's such a great size. On entering the home, there is a good sized hallway with plenty of space to remove coats and shoes before entering the rest of the home. There is also an understairs cupboard, perfect for the hoover/Ironing board etc.
The lounge to the front of the property is large and has room for a sofa and chairs along with a dining table & chairs too. As this is a duplex, it really feels like a house once inside. The upstairs bedrooms are all doubles and along with the rest of the apartment are bright and light. The family bathroom is also well proportioned.
As this apartment is so close to shops (including the newsagents and barbers underneath), close to local bus stops, parks and green space and nearby to schools, it would make a great property for a family or an investor. As this property has been successfully let for the past 10 years, we believe it will easily be let again should the new owner decide that is the route for them.
