We fell in love with this beautiful character home before we'd even seen inside it. Full of charm and personality, it offered the perfect opportunity to turn it into what it is now, a stylish and modern home, which has been hugely enjoyed by our family. We had lived in North Woodley for over 20 years and loved it so much, we only moved five minutes away.

For us, one of the standout features is the south facing garden, it's not overlooked so it's great for relaxing or entertaining. We have enjoyed many family gatherings, barbecues and parties here. We will be sorry to leave this fantastic home and its peaceful and tranquil setting.

We absolutely love this home. Set back in a small development off of the Willowside cul-de-sac, and accessed via a short drive, this home is really quite stunning. The front of the property has parking for four cars along with a large lawn set to the side, which gives an immediate feeling of space. When we first walked through the front door, we were met with a feeling of quality and tasteful decor. The home owners have done a fantastic job in creating a stylish home worthy of instagram! The hallway is bright and open and we love the contrast of the dark kitchen units and worktops which are taken through into the utility room. We particularly liked the lounge which is large as it is but can be expanded even further through the bifold doors. On a sunny day, we can imagine, the patio doors opened, the electronic canopy pulled across and a barbecue lunch being prepared. The garden is a great size and wraps around the home. The cabin provides additional flexible space to do whatever you wish.

Upstairs hasn't disappointed, the bedrooms are great size and both have lots of storage. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, there will be no fights for the shower!

The Location
North Woodley is the premier spot in Woodley and it's not hard to see why. Ashenbury Park just a few minutes walk away and is perfect for a dog walk or keeping fit.

Waingels College and Willowbank schools are again a short walk away and there are nearby bus stops taking you into Reading. Woodley precinct has Waitrose, Lidl and a number of coffee shops, eateries and retailers.

If you are a commuter, you can easily get to Twyford Station which takes you to Paddington or Winnersh Station which is on the line to Waterloo. M4 junctions are a short drive away and the quintessential village of Sonning on Thames just a stroll.
