The building

Montpellier House is one of Cheltenham's finest examples of regency architecture and retains period features both externally and internally, including the open-well staircase with iron balustrade with lozenge and oval motif and wreathed handrail as well as Marble fireplaces. The property was built around 1832 by the architect Edward Jenkins.
