Description
A detached four bedroom home set in a private position on an approximate 0.36 acre plot, now partially refurbished and offering an exciting opportunity to complete and personalise.
The current owners have begun a thoughtful programme of improvements, introducing a beautiful stone floor running seamlessly from the entrance hall through the dining room into the kitchen and utility room. A new staircase has been installed and the principal bedroom has been opened up to create a more generous layout with ample storage. This is complemented by a newly fitted en suite, alongside a newly created family bathroom serving the remaining bedrooms.
The property offers over 2,100 sq ft of accommodation and presents a rare chance for an incoming purchaser to install their own kitchen and complete the remaining works to suit their own taste and style.
On entering, there is a welcoming entrance hall with cloakroom. The sitting room is particularly well proportioned, enjoying a double aspect and views over the rear garden, allowing for excellent natural light. The dining room sits adjacent to the kitchen space, creating a natural flow for entertaining.
On the first floor there are four double bedrooms, including the reconfigured principal suite with en suite, alongside the newly installed family bathroom.
Outside, the property is approached via a private road leading to a shingled driveway providing ample parking. There is a detached garage, divided into two areas, and a separate greenhouse.
The rear garden is a real feature, predominantly laid to lawn and bordered by mature hedging, well-stocked beds and a variety of trees. At the far end, a gate provides direct access to the woodland beyond.
A section of this woodland is available to the property on a leasehold basis for a modest annual fee.
