What the owners love:

My favourite thing about the property is sitting out on the balcony overlooking the rose garden. From there, you can hear the birds on the common. We've also really enjoyed having enough communal space to host Christmas for family. Locally, I love having the common just moments away and The Grange pub so close for amazing Sunday roasts in the winter and drinks in the beer garden in summer. It's so quick to get to Ealing Common, into the Broadway, but also to South Ealing, which has amazing cafes and shops. We also have 3 amazing parks within walking distance: Lammas, Walpole and Gunnersbury!

The block has a lovely variety of people, including young professionals, families and those who have retired. There's a real community feel with tenants looking out for each other. The tenants association is very active and takes its role in managing the property really seriously. It's clear everyone who lives here wants to maintain the property and communal spaces to the highest standard.

Ealing Common is such a lovely place to live. It's walkable to the main shops in Ealing Broadway but far enough away to feel peaceful. It gives you easy access to places like South Ealing, which has great places to eat and quaint local greengrocers. It's also close to Acton, which has a brilliant arts cinema.

For parents such as ourselves, there are so many great local nurseries and primary schools. The transport links are amazing, with 4 lines (Piccadilly, District, Central and Elizabeth) and 4 stations within walking distance. The speed into central on the Elizabeth line means you have all the benefits of being in a leafy suburb, but can still be in the heart of the theatre district in 15 mins.

Why we would buy this home:

There is a distinct magic to finding a property that feels like a sanctuary without sacrificing the pulse of city connectivity. This wonderful, expansive two-bedroom apartment captures that exact balance.

Stepping onto your private terrace to take in the stunning views feels less like London living and more like a countryside escape. The entire home is bathed in exceptional natural light, beautifully highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship of the restored parquet flooring running throughout.

Nestled right at the foot of the sprawling Ealing Common, the location offers a quiet, village-like retreat. Yet, the isolation an illusion - you can find exceptional transport links and vibrant amenities just moments away.

From the effortless convenience of a lift and a private garage to the sheer bliss of wandering through the beautiful communal grounds and manicured rose garden, the lifestyle perks here are unmatched.

With two proper double bedrooms and a layout that breathes, this is a rare, light-filled haven that doesn't force you to choose between tranquillity and convenience.
