Accommodation
This exceptional home has been the subject of a comprehensive and thoughtful high-specification renovation by the current owner, combining period charm with modern comfort. Reconfigured and extended during her tenure, the cottage now offers a rare sense of space and flow, seldom found in properties of this type.
The accommodation comprises an entrance hall leading into a stunning open-plan living, sitting and dining area, complete with a wood-burning stove and doors opening directly onto the garden, creating a wonderful indoor-outdoor connection. The kitchen, installed as part of the full renovation, is both stylish and functional, seamlessly integrated into the overall design.
Upstairs, there are two well-proportioned double bedrooms, both currently accommodating king-size beds, along with a beautifully finished shower room.
A particular feature of the property is the extensive upgrading carried out throughout, including a new heating system, electrics, double-glazed wooden windows, flooring, kitchen, and bathroom, offering a true turnkey home for prospective buyers.
Externally, the cottage enjoys a charming rear garden with gated side access, off-road parking, and a useful new summer house, currently used as a studio and home workspace.
Further potential exists, with plumbing already in place for the addition of a ground-floor WC. In addition, full planning permission has previously been granted for a loft extension to create an additional bedroom and bathroom, offering excellent scope to further enhance the property if desired.
