Land for sale

Glenboig Farm Road, Glenboig, Coatbridge ML5

An exciting and rarely available residential development opportunity set within the historic grounds of Glenboig House, comprising a substantial parcel of predominantly level ground with planning permission granted for the construction of three impressive detached villas.

Formerly utilised as the paddock serving Glenboig House, the site enjoys an attractive, established setting and offers an excellent opportunity for developers, builders or private purchasers seeking to create an exclusive residential development.

The approved proposals provide for three substantial individual homes, accessed via a new private road positioned between Glenboig House (Lot 1) and the adjoining stable block and former riding arena (Lot 2), leading into Lot 3. The development has been thoughtfully arranged to create a private cul-de-sac setting serving just three properties.

Works have already commenced on site, with initial trenching undertaken in connection with two of the proposed houses, providing a head start for prospective purchasers.

The predominantly level ground, mature surroundings and limited number of homes offer excellent potential to create a prestigious development with a sense of privacy and exclusivity.

Alternatively, Lot 3 may appeal to purchasers of Glenboig House (Lot 1) seeking to acquire additional land to extend the grounds of the main Residence, create more extensive gardens or retain as a longer-term investment, subject to any necessary consents.

The site is available for purchase independently or potentially alongside the adjoining lots, providing flexibility for a variety of purchasers.
