The land at Drumbuie is located within a rural setting, close to the boundary between South and East Ayrshire. It is located approximately two miles west of the village of Patna, just off the main road running from Patna to Kirkmichael and is approximately 10 miles south of Ayr.

From Ayr, head south on the A713, towards Patna. Shortly after entering Patna, turn right on to Main Street (signposted Kirkmichael) and follow the road for approximately 2 miles. Take the right hand junction, signposted for Dalrymple. Follow this road over Dalvennan Bridge and as you follow the road to the right (single track), the land is on the left land side.
