Glasgow Green on your doorstep, the city centre within walking distance and the M74 seconds away this beautifully presented top floor apartment puts you in an exceptional position for enjoying Glasgow while giving you a bright, spacious and surprisingly peaceful place to come home to.
Five things our current owners love about their home:
1. Being on the top floor - I love the advantages that come with being right at the top of the building. The large windows bring in loads of natural light and give me a great outlook, while the huge loft above provides an incredible amount of extra storage. I've also found the flat holds its heat really well in winter, while opening the windows creates a lovely breeze through the apartment in summer.
2. How peaceful it is - one of the biggest surprises has been just how quiet the flat is. I was told when I bought it that soundproofing, including acoustic insulation, had been incorporated into the building, and i've certainly noticed the difference. There's very little noise from neighbours or the road, particularly at night
3. The quality of the apartment - the flat has stood the test of time incredibly well. I haven't needed to carry out major cosmetic improvements to keep it looking fresh, which says a lot about the original finish and how well the property has been built. It's ready for the next owner to move straight in while still giving them the opportunity to add their own personality over time.
4. The location - there genuinely seems to be something in every direction. Glasgow Green and the River Clyde are practically on the doorstep, Richmond Park is a short walk away and I can walk into Glasgow city centre rather than paying to commute. When I do need the car, the M74 is seconds away. Hampden Park and Celtic Park are also around 1 mile walk away.
5. The neighbourhood - the area has developed into a really established community with lots of professionals living nearby. It feels settled and generally very quiet, and having spacious, well planned parking outside has been another everyday convenience i've really appreciated.
Occupying the top floor of this modern development at Richmond Park Terrace, this two bedroom apartment is presented in genuine walk in condition, with fresh neutral interiors and a layout that makes excellent use of the space.
The stand out is undoubtedly the open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Stretching across one side of the apartment, it's an impressively generous room that feels bright and sociable thanks to multiple windows bringing natural light into the space.
The kitchen itself has a sleek contemporary finish, combining white cabinetry with contrasting wood-effect units and integrated appliances. There's plenty of worktop and storage space, while the open layout leaves ample room for both a proper dining setup and substantial lounge furniture without either area competing for space.
That makes this a flat that works just as well for having friends round as it does for a quiet night on the sofa.
Both bedrooms are well proportioned and continue the property's clean, neutral presentation. The main bedroom is a comfortable double with fitted wardrobes and its own ensuite shower room, providing excellent storage alongside some welcome privacy.
Bedroom two is another genuinely useful room. Currently arranged to incorporate a home working setup, it demonstrates the flexibility buyers increasingly look for equally suited to a second bedroom, guest room or dedicated office.
A separate main bathroom means the apartment benefits from two bathrooms, a particularly useful feature when sharing, entertaining or having overnight guests.
Being on the top floor brings some excellent additional advantages. Large windows provide an elevated outlook and plenty of natural light, while above the apartment is a substantial loft providing a level of additional storage rarely associated with modern flats. The current owner has also found the property remarkably quiet, both from neighbouring apartments and the road outside.
The overall finish is another strong point. Rather than relying on a recent cosmetic makeover, the apartment has simply been well maintained, and its modern interiors still present beautifully. For the next owner, there is no immediate renovation list to work through move your furniture in and start enjoying it.
Glasgow Green and the River Clyde are practically on your doorstep, opening up miles of walking and cycling routes, while Richmond Park is also close by. Continue towards the city and Glasgow city centre can comfortably be reached on foot, giving buyers the option to leave the car at home altogether.
For buyers looking for a modern apartment close to the action but somewhere that still feels settled when they get home, Richmond Park Terrace gets an awful lot right.
