Description
Tynings is a very well presented detached family home set in private and secluded gardens on the edge of one of Hertfordshire's most sought after and well renowned villages.
The accommodation is set over two floors and offers bright and airy rooms throughout. There is a large welcoming hallway with doors leading through to all the rooms. The main reception room enjoys a triple aspect including double doors opening out to the rear garden. There is a comfortable dining room and kitchen, utility and cloakroom. On the first floor, three double bedrooms, a large family bathroom and separate shower room can be found.
The irrigated gardens to Tynings are rather special and boast superb views over adjoining fields. There are two sun terraces, which take full advantage of the sunshine, whilst lawned areas sweep away from the house, which are flanked by mature shrubs and herbaceous borders.

Ayot St Lawrence remains a quiet and idyllic village only accessible along country lanes and is very popular with visitors and walkers.
Not withstanding the two distinctly different churches and the Brocket Arms public house, the main draw of the village is Shaw’s Corner. This Edwardian villa, built as a rectory, was George Bernard Shaw's home from 1906 until his death in 1950.
The town centres of Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City and St. Albans are within easy reach and all provide comprehensive shopping and travel facilities.
There is a fantastic selection of golf courses in the area including Brockett Hall with its superb Auberge du Lac restaurant, Knebworth, Mid Herts at nearby Gustard Wood and the challenging course at Hammonds End, Harpenden.
Good schools are numerous and include Haileybury College and Heath Mount Preparatory School, both in Hertford, Aldwickbury Preparatory School and St Hildas Girls school at Harpenden, and St. Albans High School for Girls and the St Albans Boys at St. Albans.
