After 38 years here, we can say that this home has offered something truly special - a home where our family grew, thrived and enjoyed many special moments. The closeness, a traffic free, 5-minute walk to Swinley Forest, has been the part of our daily life. It's tranquil woodland has given the enjoyment of nature on our doorstep, and where we have walked with our children from when they were very young, and for the last 12 years, with our family dog. This has been undoubtedly the best part of living in The Warren area. That, and being a short stroll to Martins Heron station providing easy access to London and all destinations long the route. With the Tesco store located on the other side of the railway and Martins Heron station, it has been an added bonus for a quick trip for food and grocery shopping.

Our garden, now quite different from when we moved into the property 30 plus years ago, has matured, and is a place we and our children have enjoyed over the years, whether it be playing badminton, with our dog, or simply relaxing with a book. We will miss the convenience of what The Warren location has offered, but with the children leaving home, it is time for us to move to pastures new, and to explore what the south-west has to offer.

Epping Way is situated within The Warren, a popular residential area of Bracknell that is particularly well suited to families. There is plenty of green space surrounding the development, while Martins Heron train station and the Tesco Superstore are both within easy reach, making everyday life nice and convenient. One of the big attractions of the location is the access to Swinley Forest. From the property, you can be enjoying the miles of woodland, walking routes and cycling trails in a matter of minutes. There are also good road links nearby, with easy access towards the M3, M4 and the wider Bracknell area.

For us, one of the first things that stands out about this house is just how well looked after it is. The owners have clearly taken a lot of pride in it and it has been kept to a really high standard throughout. We are also big fans of the entrance hall. It is a really good size, with the galleried landing giving you an immediate feeling of space as soon as you walk through the front door.

There are plenty of different areas to use depending on how you live, with the separate snug, study and main living room all giving the house plenty of flexibility. But for us, the highlight is the conservatory. The current owners have added a full roof to it and use it as their dining room, and it is a really versatile room with lovely views over the garden. It is easy to imagine this being a great space for family meals, entertaining or simply sitting and enjoying the garden.
