This was ready to move into, and I felt the road was quiet and friendly. The neighbourhood is a small community, very quiet and friendly, and the estate is a road that goes round to a cul-de-sac. We have cycle tracks nearby and you can walk along the River Rea trail. The schools are walking distance, and we have a train station down the road and bus stops near too. There's a village hall called Hampstead House which has village fetes. I think this will suit a young family, if they like it quiet and being detached."

What about the house itself?

"I love the space in the kitchen and the extra room in the conservatory. I spend a lot of time in there because it has so many windows, it feels like you are sitting in the garden. We've had a new kitchen fitted to suit our style, and a new roof put on the conservatory, it feels cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter now. The sun is on the garden all day long because it's south facing, so I love to sit out there in summer and do my gardening and grow flowers. When the children were small it was a great space for them to play in too. When people walk into the lounge, their reaction is always to the doors, they really notice them. What i'll miss most is the transport links, and just how quiet it is here."
