Owners Comments...
We've loved living in Dauntless Road - it's such a great location, the area is so quiet and handy for a pint of milk with the Co-Op around the corner! Willink Leisure Centre is a 10-15 minute walk away with a well-equipped gym, an excellent pool and a range of classes available to all. There are 3 Primary schools nearby and a Secondary school, with plenty happening in the community to help build bonds quickly for everyone. Both J11 & J12 of the M4 are 15 minutes drive away, which has been really useful when we need to get to the office. For the rest of our time we can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside with plenty of woodland to walk in on our doorstep.
Area Comments...
Dauntless Road is in Burghfield Common, a popular location for buyers looking for a little more greenery and space while still being within easy reach of Reading. There are plenty of parks, woodland and walking routes around the area, giving you lots of options for getting outside. There are also good local schools nearby, whilst Theale is within easy reach for the train station and access to the M4. Reading town centre is also straightforward to get to, making the location work well for both everyday life and commuting.
Ryan and Sanjay Comments...
We really like how straightforward this house is. It is in good condition, the layout works well and there isn't a huge amount someone needs to take on before they can enjoy it. The living / dining room at the back is a really good size and the double doors opening onto the garden give it a nice connection with the outside. The south west facing garden is another big plus, especially for anyone who enjoys sitting outside in the afternoon and evening. Having the rear gated access is really useful too, while the driveway and garage opposite give you plenty of options for parking. For us, this is exactly the sort of house that will appeal to a first time buyer. It gives you good space, a great garden, parking and a really nice location without needing to take on a big project.
