Beautifully Presented Two Bedroom Apartment In The Heart Of Fitzrovia, Moments From Soho
Greater London Properties Presents
We are delighted to present this well-proportioned two bedroom apartment, ideally positioned on the second floor of an attractive building on Wells Street in the heart of Fitzrovia.
The Property
Offering nearly 600 sq ft of accommodation, the property benefits from a practical and well balanced layout, with a separate modern kitchen providing a distinct cooking space away from the main reception room. The kitchen is contemporary in style and offers excellent storage and preparation space.
The reception room is bright and welcoming, with a feature fireplace adding character and creating an attractive focal point to the living space. There is ample room for comfortable seating and dining, making this an ideal space for both relaxing and entertaining.
The principal bedroom is generously proportioned and benefits from built-in wardrobes, providing excellent storage without compromising on floor space. The second bedroom offers flexibility as a guest bedroom, home office or additional sleeping accommodation.
Location and Transport
Wells Street is surprisingly quiet and occupies a fantastic position within Fitzrovia, surrounded by an excellent selection of independent cafés, restaurants, pubs and shops. The boutiques and restaurants of Charlotte Street are close by, while Oxford Street, Soho and the wider West End are all within easy walking distance.
The property is exceptionally well connected, with Tottenham Court Road providing access to the Elizabeth, Central and Northern lines, while Oxford Circus offers Central, Victoria and Bakerloo line services. Numerous bus routes also operate throughout the surrounding area, providing convenient connections across Central London.
What The owners Say.....
We purchased the flat 20 years ago for its proximity to University College Hospital. As a consultant surgeon, my husband needed to be readily available for on – call duties. I also worked in the nhs at the Margaret Pyke centre originally in Charlotte Street.
The flat is very central. Broadcasting House in Portland Place is 5 minutes away. Convenient for west end theatres and galleries with no rushing to get the train home – you just amble back soaking up the atmosphere.
There are great shopping areas very close by. Oxford Street, Marylebone High Street, Soho, China Town, Bond Street.Endless choices. If you want to walk Regents Park is a short distance away and very beautiful, changing with every season. Very close to the tube network, especially the Elizabeth line with direct access to Heathrow. It’s also easy to get to most London rail terminals.
A very friendly, relaxed area - we love Scandikitchen in Great Titchfield Street for a light lunch and Kaffeine serves great coffee. Sergios just aound the corner for a great Italian meal anytime.
With all of the advantages of central London living, Wells Street is very pleasant and quiet. On street parking for residents at a reasonable annual rate and minimal congestion charging.
Now that we’re retired, we don’t need the flat as often as before and the time has come for someone new to make their own memories there...and we have lots of plans to make more of our own elsewhere.
