Description
Set behind wooden gates, this period home occupies a prime position within the highly sought after town of Helmsley. The property boasts ample off street parking, a garage and attractive gardens.
Arranged over two floors, the property was constructed in 1926 and extends to approximately 2,010 sq ft of light filled accommodation. A welcoming entrance hall leads to an impressive open plan kitchen and dining area, thoughtfully designed with an extensive range of fitted cabinetry, integrated appliances and a Rangemaster cooker. The space also benefits from a log burning stove which creates an attractive focal point. Bi fold doors open onto the west facing garden, creating a fabulous space for alfresco dining.
The sitting room features a lovely bay window and is equipped with a log burning stove. There is also a study, ideal for working from home, which could alternatively be used as a ground floor bedroom if required. In addition, there is a wet room and WC to the ground floor.
To the first floor, there are four bedrooms. The generous principal bedroom and bedroom two benefit from dual aspect windows. Bedrooms three and four enjoy views over the west facing garden. The loft is of considerable size and offers excellent potential for conversion into an additional bedroom and bathroom. It is already fitted with velux windows, is fully boarded out and insulated, primed for conversion subject to the necessary consents.
Externally, the property benefits from ample off street parking and a garage which is fully equipped with water and electricity. The front garden hosts a variety of fruit trees.
