If you lived here...
You’ll find plenty of personality throughout, from the stripped wooden floorboards and ornate ceiling detailing to the original fireplaces. The bay-fronted bedroom is a wonderfully bright space, with soft neutral walls, high ceilings and a decorative fireplace adding a touch of period charm. Moving through the hallway, the separate reception room feels warm and inviting, with rich teal walls, a beautiful fireplace and fitted shelving creating a lovely setting for relaxing or entertaining. The combination of original features and confident colour gives the interiors a distinctive character.
Towards the rear, the kitchen diner has been thoughtfully updated with deep blue cabinetry, pale worktops and contemporary fittings, with plenty of natural light coming through the windows. There's room for dining, while a door opens directly onto the private garden. The bathroom sits just off the hallway, with a bath and shower above, contemporary vanity unit and contrasting finishes. Outside, the west-facing garden offers a generous stretch of outdoor space, with a decked seating area, planting beds and plenty of scope to make it your own. A word from the owner...
"This flat has been our home since 2017 - we love that it's quiet, cosy and has a big garden. Manor Park is a friendly neighborhood with great community things happening at the libraries, Rabbits Road Press and Manor Park Community Garden. We have enjoyed walking on the Wanstead Flats and Wanstead Park, and going along to the cafes at Forest Gate. We've really benefitted from the very easy access on the Elizabeth Line to Stratford and Central London."
