Generous lounge with period character.
Separate fitted kitchen.
Garage providing useful storage.
No ongoing chain.
A truly unique two-bedroom apartment, forming part of the historic Phoenix House in Ferring and offered for sale with no ongoing chain. Originally known as ‘The Manor House’, the property dates back hundreds of years and was acquired by the Henty family in 1766, before being refurbished by the family in 1860. It remained a private residence until 1924, when it became the Ferring Grange Hotel. Sadly, the hotel was almost completely destroyed by fire in 1946, although one wing survived and is now known as Phoenix House. The building was converted into three individual apartments in 1953. This well-presented second-floor flat offers a generous lounge, separate fitted kitchen, two bedrooms, loft access, bathroom and separate WC, together with a garage providing useful storage. Combining period character, an interesting local history and comfortable accommodation, Phoenix House offers a rare opportunity to own a home with genuine character and a fascinating story, all within the popular village of Ferring.
