A modern coastal home with distant sea views, moments from Duncan Down
From the window of the second bedroom you can see the sea. It is a small detail, but it sums up this house well: A calm, modern home on the edge of Whitstable, with open green space at the end of the road and the harbour, beach and high street all within walking distance.
Completed in 2023 and kept in immaculate order by its current owner, the house feels as fresh as the day it was handed over, with around seven years of the new-build warranty remaining.
The house
The ground floor is arranged around a light-filled living and dining room spanning the rear of the house, where patio doors open directly onto the garden. It is an easy space to live in, equally suited to a quiet evening or having friends round.
The kitchen is sleek and contemporary, fitted with integrated appliances including a fridge/freezer and washing machine. A cloakroom and a useful understairs cupboard complete the ground floor.
Upstairs there are two well-proportioned bedrooms and a modern family bathroom. Bedroom two enjoys the distant sea views, more storage and the loft provides valuable extra storage.
Outside
The garden is reached straight from the living room, making it a natural extension of the house in the warmer months. To the front, a private allocated parking space sits directly outside the door, with visitor parking alongside.

Location
Whitstable Heights occupies an elevated position on the southern side of town. Duncan Down, more than 50 acres of woodland, meadow and footpaths, is at the end of the road.
The high street is about a mile away, around 20 minutes on foot, and known for its independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The harbour and beach are a little further on, approximately 1.3 miles from the house.
Everyday needs are well covered, with the Tesco superstore about half a mile away. Whitstable station is under a mile, with direct services to London, and the Thanet Way gives quick access to the A299 and M2.
Whitstable is well regarded for its schools. The Whitstable School, rated Good by Ofsted, is around a ten minute walk, and the town offers a strong choice of primaries, including Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed C of E Junior School, rated Outstanding.
