Wonderfully private, the property has solid oak doors throughout and comprises two reception rooms, four bedrooms, bathroom, shower room and a large boot/utility room, along with a separate garage and garden sheds.
Tolcarne would make an excellent weekend or holiday retreat, or a peaceful permanent home.
The property begins with a useful vestibule which opens into a hallway, off which all the accommodation is positioned. At the heart of the home is the welcoming dining kitchen which displays sage-green cabinetry and hardwood worktops. Appliances include a Zanussi hob and double oven and there is a concealed dishwasher. Double aspect, with windows to the front and side, this comfortable space looks out onto the garden and has plenty of space for a good-sized dining table.
The lounge has a fireplace and large picture front facing window overlooking the front terrace and framing the glorious views beyond. Sharing the same outlook is the principal bedroom complete with in-built wardrobes. There are three further bedrooms, one currently used as a home office. The bathroom is both stylish and luxurious, with a freestanding bath and separate walk-in shower and there is also an additional separate shower room. The boot room/utility room is larger than usual and ideal for storing outdoor clothing and equipment as well as laundry, with a special space for a dog bed/crate and plumbing for a washing machine along with space for a tumble dryer. Completing the accommodation is a handy cloakroom/WC.
Outside: Access to the property is by way of a driveway at the front with parking areas to the front and side. The remainder of the grounds are predominantly laid in grass. Boundaries comprise mature hedging and post and wire fencing and there is a timber garden shed. There is an elevated terrace at the front of the house with wonderful views.
Garage: Double garage is located beneath the house and has power and light.
