About this property
No onward chain
"When we moved from the harbourside, we spent our first night drinking aperols and eating pizza in our suntrap of a garden. We were so amazed how quiet and peaceful it was. Although our house is a stones throw from the amazing wine bars, cafes and restaurants of Northstreet, and a quick 15 minute walk to the centre of Bristol, we've always been so amazed at how peaceful our lovely home and garden has been for us."
The Home
A two bedroom Victorian terraced home offered with no onward chain. The front living room is set at the front of the home, there is a fitted cupboard either side of the chimney breast, a large front window and the log burner sitting within the original fireplace. Glazed double doors open through into the dining room, so the two rooms can either be kept separate or opened up when friends are over.
The dining room features exposed floorboards, the original timber staircase and plenty of room for a full-size dining table. The owners have also used the chimney breast and alcoves particularly well adding built-in shelving and storage without losing the character of the room. At the rear is a separate kitchen with shaker-style cabinetry, timber worktops.
Upstairs are two bedrooms. The main bedroom spans the full width of the front of the house and is enough space for a large bed as well as substantial freestanding wardrobes. The second bedroom is also a good size and currently works particularly well as a combination of guest room and home office. The bathroom has recently been refurbished, with pale green panelling and a full-size bath with shower above.
Outside space
The garden is low maintenance, with an artificial lawn and space for outdoor seating, planting and a barbecue.
