Hardly any flats in the area are like this one. Spacious, stylish and ready to go.
Catshill is one of Bromsgrove’s most sought-after spots, and this ground floor apartment shows why. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a bright open plan living space. The owners took it back to brick and rebuilt it from scratch, so there’s nothing left to do but unpack. And that blue kitchen with brass handles? Wait until you see it.
We asked them what made them buy it...
“It was going to be our first property. We had a vision, and we knew this flat would fit it. Within two minutes of being here, we knew we were going to buy it. The size was the big thing. It’s so much larger than the others we saw. The location won us over too. The motorways are easy to reach, and there’s grass and a park nearby. There are barely any privately owned flats in Catshill, so this felt like a find.
It’s a quiet family estate. You’ll see lovely children and families playing out on the street or at the park, and there’s very little traffic noise. It’s a pleasant community. We loved the walks, too. You can wander all around the village, or head up to the Lickey Hills in an hour or so. Bromsgrove town is only a forty-five minute walk. For food, we like Christophers Caribbean Carvery and Miller and Carter. The schools in Catshill are a fifteen minute walk, and Bromsgrove’s are a ten minute bus ride. We’ll miss the neighbours and the community most.”
What about the house itself?
“We did a full renovation. We took it back to brick and put in new everything. The living room is where we spend most of our time. It’s large and bright, and it feels splendid all year round. The kitchen always gets a reaction. It’s blue, with brass handles, and people love it. There’s plenty of storage too, with a big cupboard in the hall and lots of space in the kitchen cupboards. The second bedroom works as a spare room or an office. It really does suit everyone. First time buyers, downsizers, single professionals. It’s spacious and elegant, and honestly, it sells itself.”
Our agents say...
We love a property where someone has already done the hard work. This is one of those.
It’s all on one level, so it suits first time buyers, couples, downsizers and anyone after a simple, low maintenance life. The open plan lounge, kitchen and diner is bright and spacious. Cook while the telly’s on. Chat to guests while the kettle boils. And the bedrooms give you real flexibility. Use the generous single as a guest room, a home office or a dressing room. You choose.
The practical stuff is covered too. New wiring, a new boiler and new windows mean peace of mind from day one. Then there’s the allocated parking space, with extra on street parking along the road.
Catshill gives you village calm with Bromsgrove on your doorstep. Properties like this don’t hang around.
