Quiet road. Big rooms. The Lickey Hills on your doorstep. For a growing family, this is the dream move.

Set on a quiet road in Rednal, on Birmingham’s leafy south-western edge, this detached family home offers four double bedrooms, three versatile reception spaces and an easy-care, tiered rear garden. A conservatory with a sweeping rounded bay looks out over the garden, there’s a dedicated home office at the front, and the boiler is just two years old. With the Lickey Hills, Waseley Hills and Longbridge all close by, it’s a home that balances peace and quiet with everything a family needs.

We asked them what made them buy it...

“Coming from a small three-bed terraced house, this felt like our dream home. It was large, well decorated and right for our family, and the road was quiet, which really mattered with children. We’ve never stopped loving the quiet setting. You’re close to nature, with walks on the Lickey Hills and Waseley Hills, but you’re also close to everything else. We love Herbert’s Yard, Longbridge shopping, Great Park and the cinema, and there are numerous supermarkets nearby. Waseley Hills High School is close too. It’s very easy to get around, with lots of local transport, and it’s easy to walk to places. And the neighbours are lovely.”

What about the house itself?

“It was the size that sold it to us. The rooms are a good size, the bedrooms are large, and the conservatory works brilliantly as an office or playroom. Those are the things guests always comment on. We spend most of our time in the cosy living room, the office, which is great for home working, and the kitchen. In summer the conservatory is warm but downstairs stays cool, so you can always find a cool space. The garden is easy maintenance and suitable for pets, and we love a BBQ out there in summer. It’s ready to move in to, with lots of space, and it just feels homely. It’s perfect for a family moving from a smaller property and needing something bigger, just like we did.”

Our agents say...

This is a home with real room to grow. The lounge, with its fireplace and double French doors, opens into a conservatory where the rounded bay gives you a panoramic view of the garden. Use it as a playroom, a second office or simply the sunniest spot in the house. The kitchen/dining room has plenty of counter space, integrated appliances and room for the whole family around the table, while the bay-fronted front reception gives home working its own door.

Upstairs, all four bedrooms are genuine doubles. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room, there’s a family bathroom for everyone else, and a ground floor WC downstairs. Storage is excellent, with a good-sized loft on top. Outside, a paved patio steps down to a private decked area, perfect for summer BBQs, and the low-maintenance garden means more time enjoying it.

Ready to move straight in, with a two-year-old boiler for peace of mind. Get in touch today and come and see it for yourself.
