A convenient place to call home
If you're looking to take your first step onto the property ladder and want somewhere that makes everyday life easy, this one bedroom first floor apartment at McKenzie Court is well worth a look.
Situated on the first floor at the end of the development, the apartment benefits from its own private balcony with views towards the river, giving you a lovely outdoor space to enjoy despite being so close to the town centre.
What really stands out here is the location. Maidstone East station is just a short walk away, making it a convenient choice for commuters, while Fremlin Walk shopping centre, Maidstone town centre and Brenchley Gardens are all close by.
Whether it's grabbing a coffee on your way to work, meeting friends for dinner, popping to the shops or heading into London, having so much within walking distance is a real advantage.
The apartment itself offers a comfortable and practical layout, with a separate double bedroom, living space, kitchen and bathroom. It's a home that's easy to settle into and make your own, without needing lots of space to maintain.
There's also the benefit of communal parking within the development, with spaces available on an unallocated basis. The current owners have two cars and advise they've regularly been able to park both without difficulty.
For first time buyers who want the independence of owning their own home, good transport connections and plenty to do nearby, McKenzie Court offers a really appealing balance.
Agent's View
For me, the biggest attraction here is the convenience. You're so close to Maidstone East station and the town centre that you can genuinely leave the car at home for much of the week.
I also really like the apartment's position at the end of the development, particularly having your own balcony with river views. It's a lovely feature to have when you're living so close to everything.
Add in the communal parking and the fact that water is included in the £40 monthly ground rent, and I think this makes a really sensible first home for someone wanting to get onto the ladder without compromising on location.
