I bought this property off-plan five years ago, and it was my first home. It’s been such a special place for me, growing and changing with me through some really important stages of my life.
When I first moved in, I used the second bedroom as a study while completing my master’s, spending many late nights studying and working. A few years later, that same room became a nursery for my twins. I’ve loved how versatile the space is, it really does grow with you.
I’ve always kept the décor fairly simple, which in a way has been a blessing. Even after five years, the property still has that lovely new-build feel and is a real blank canvas for the next owners to put their own stamp on. You can make it your own from day one.
The community has also been a big part of why i’ve enjoyed living here. You never feel alone. I’ve had neighbours on hand to help with parcels, share updates and lend a helping hand when needed.
As a mum, i’ve especially loved the green spaces around the development. We’ve enjoyed walks, feeding the ducks in the pond, spotting the occasional swan and chatting with the dog walkers. The children’s parks around the development have also been fantastic for the girls. You’re also only a short drive from Dinton Pastures and California Country Park, which have been great for family days out and getting the kids outside.
The location is another real highlight. You’re only around 5-10 minutes from Wokingham and Bracknell, The Lexicon, supermarkets and all the everyday essentials. The M4 is also incredibly convenient, and with friends and family in London, it’s reassuring to know we can usually reach them within 30-60 minutes.
This place has been my first home, my study, my family home and the place where my girls have grown up. It’s been part of so many important memories for us.
We’re now ready for our next adventure. Although it’s bittersweet to leave, we’re excited to pass the keys on to the next owners and hope they make just as many wonderful memories here.
