Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman
With lovely views of Tarporley Tennis Club, who needs Wimbledon! I do love this location and have sold many apartments here through the years. I have to say that this is a particularly good example of its type.
With its peaceful setting and highly convenient location, Rathbone Park offers the perfect opportunity for those looking to downsize and find their long term retirement home. Located just a short stroll from Tarporley High Street, all residents have easy access to the local amenities the town offers as well as regular bus routes to help you travel around Cheshire.
Internally this first floor apartment is in excellent condition and offers a comfortably spaced layout.
The ground floor Entrance Hall has a wide shallow tread staircase, with stair lift, rising to the first floor. The Open Plan Living/Dining Room 4.9m x 3.1m is a particularly light and airy room with views over the village tennis courts, an opening leads into the Kitchen 3.2m x 1.9m which was refitted in 2016 to a high specification and benefits from fitted with floor and wall cupboards along with a worksurface incorporating a stainless steel sink unit and drainer, a 4 ring ceramic hob with oven beneath and extractor above, integrated slimline dishwasher, and space for under counter fridge and freezer.
Bedroom One (3.1m x 2.8m) is a light and airy room and enjoys views over the village tennis courts. There is a versatile Second Bedroom 3.2m x 1.9m which could be utilised as a Dressing Room or alternatively a Second Guest Bedroom. The original Bathroom refitted in 2016 provides a large shower facility, along with a wash hand basin and low level WC. There is a large Utility cupboard off with plumbing for washing machine and tumble dryer. Many of the ceiling lights have been replaced with daylight light units.
Externally, the property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac offering resident parking, the communal gardens being a mixture of lawned areas and mature hedging with a variety of trees and shrubs.
The apartment benefits from being sold with no ongoing chain and a viewing is highly recommended to see both the merits and potential this home offers.
For a personal description of the property or to arrange a viewing, please contact myself or a member of the team at the Tarporley office.

Tarporley is one of Cheshire's most highly regarded villages that boasts a diverse selection of amenities including a community centre, tennis courts, convenience stores, fashion boutiques, cafes, restaurants, public houses, doctors' surgery, dentists, three Churches and a very extensive bus route. The area as a whole has access to glorious countryside and places of significant interest that include ancient castles, boating facilities on nearby canals and the outstanding Sandstone Ridges of Cheshire. Wonderful walks are provided via the Whitegate Way and Sandstone Trail. Without leaving the village, there is walking distance access to beautiful countryside.
Whilst the area is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, the house also offers an excellent base for the business traveller. In terms of road links, there are extensive connections to the M56, M6 and M53. The A49, A51 and A55 all link to key areas of commerce and interest.
