Description
Bramley Cottage is a delightful detached country home, occupying a peaceful position in the sought-after hamlet of Crocker End, approximately five miles from Henley-on-Thames. The property offers generously proportioned and beautifully presented accommodation, combining considerable character and original architectural detail with an excellent standard of finish throughout.

The welcoming reception hall leads through to an impressive 24 ft drawing room, a wonderfully characterful space featuring a large bay window, substantial inglenook fireplace and striking 15th-century oak a-frame.

The formal dining room enjoys a dual aspect and provides an elegant setting for entertaining and family gatherings.

To the rear of the house, the kitchen and breakfast room forms the heart of the home and incorporates a comfortable snug with wood burning stove, creating an informal space in which to relax. The kitchen is fitted with an attractive range of grey Shaker-style cabinetry, complemented by granite work surfaces, a central island and integrated appliances.

On the first floor are four well-proportioned double bedrooms. The principal bedroom is particularly generous and benefits from an en suite bathroom, while a further bedroom also has en suite facilities. Three of the bedrooms have useful fitted storage. A family bathroom serves the remaining bedrooms, with an additional shower room conveniently positioned on the ground floor.

Outside

Bramley Cottage is approached through electric gates, opening onto a block-paved driveway with ample parking to the front of the house.

The mature gardens provide an attractive setting to the property, with areas of lawn framed by established flower beds and borders planted with a variety of mature shrubs, plants and trees. A number of terraces provide lovely places for outdoor dining and entertaining throughout the warmer months.

A particular feature is the summer house/home office, which is equipped with electricity and Wi-Fi and enjoys delightful views across the gardens towards the beautiful open countryside beyond.
