Outside

The principal suite also has its own private terrace, giving views directly to St Andrews Cathedral and beyond.
There is a right of way over the shared, outer courtyard and a garden shed in the corner.
Location
6 Gregory Place has an iconic setting on the cliff tops to the north of St Andrews. It looks out over the sea and the ruins of St Andrews Castle. It also has a view inland to the ruined tower of the St Andrews Cathedral.
Paths from both East Scores and Gregory Place lead to the harbour and onto the East Sands beach. The West Sands Beach is at the far end of The Scores.
East Scores adjoins The Scores which is the street that runs from the ruins of St Andrews Castle along the cliff tops to the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse. The world-famous Old Course is at the end of the street and the 18th green is only a short walk away. The main buildings of the university are situated between The Scores and North Street and all the shops, bars and restaurants are also just a short walk away.
St Andrews is renowned worldwide as the Home of Golf. There are seven golf courses under the management of the St Andrews Links Trust, including the Old Course, which will host to the Open Championship in 2027. There are many other golf courses in the area including the Duke’s Course, St Andrews Bay, Kingsbarns Elie, Crail and Dumbarnie.
St Andrews is also well known for its university which is one of the oldest in Britain, founded in 1413. The historic town has a good range of shops, hotels, restaurants and recreational and cultural facilities which include a cinema and The Byre Theatre. Beyond St Andrews is the East Neuk of Fife, with a spectacular coastline which boasts fishing villages built around picturesque harbours and sandy unspoilt beaches.
Access to St Andrews by rail, road and air is good. Leuchars railway station (6 miles) is on the main Aberdeen to London line and provides a fast link to Dundee and Edinburgh. Edinburgh Airport, with a wide range of domestic and international flights, is 50 miles away and Dundee Airport is 15 miles.
