Leisure
Relax with friends in one of the many coffee shops and cafes that Aylesbury has to offer and evenings are covered with restaurants, pubs and bars. Kingsbrook will include three new parks, tennis courts, pitches, playground and allotments. The town has a bowling alley, cinema, theatre, go karting and a leisure centre and is surrounded by the rolling countryside including the Chiltern Hills.
Education
Good and outstanding-rated schools – including two Grammar schools – at both the primary and secondary level are available in the local area. There will be new primary schools and space for a new secondary school on Kingsbrook.
Shopping
The bustling town has two indoor shopping centres with national chains (House of Fraser, Marks & Spencer, Top Shop and Next amongst those you’ll find) and local independent retailers. Main supermarkets come from Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrison’s, Aldi and Asda and of course there are plenty of convenience shops. Bicester Outlet village is around a 30 minute drive to the north west.
Transport
With trains to London Marylebone taking around 55 minutes, the A41 road connecting with the M25 and the M40, commuting is easy. Less than an hour’s drive, both Luton & Heathrow Airports offer connections across the world. Kingsbrook will include two new links roads to further ease your journeys.
Health
We’re building a new community centre that will include healthcare facilities and a pharmacy at Kingsbrook. Stoke Mandeville Hospital is in the town offering A&E and a range of services.
