The nearest cinema is around 10 minutes' drive away, on Head Street in the centre of Colchester. For theatre fans, the Mercury Theatre presents a comprehensive programme of drama, dance, children's entertainment, workshops and comedy; it is also around 10 minutes by car from Hollytree Walk. Colchester Zoo is around 15 minutes' drive away.
