<p>There are several well-regarded primary and secondary schools located near to Holt Vale, a number of which would be within walking distance.</p> <p>For younger pupils, Borras Park Community Primary School, and Hafod Y Wern Community Primary School is situated around 15 minutes' walk from the development, and St Anne's Catholic Primary School can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. Acton Park Primary School is just under a mile and a half away, or a 5-minute drive.</p> <p>Secondary-age students are served by Ysgol Rhosnesni High School, and Ysgol Morgan Llwyd, a Welsh-speaking school, both of which are less than 10 minutes' walk from Holt Vale. St Joseph's RC and Anglican High School is approximately two miles away.</p> <p>Coleg Cambria has six further education campuses around North East Wales, including one in Wrexham, which is just under a 10-minute drive from the development. Wrexham Glyndwr University is about 2.5 miles away, while the University of Chester is just over 20 minutes away by car.</p>

<p>Holt Vale is situated within reach of key transport links for commuters, including the A483 Wrexham Bypass, which can be accessed about two miles away. This road runs between Chester and Swansea, via mid Wales, including Wrexham.</p> <p>Just over 10 minutes' drive away is Junction 38 of the A55 North Wales Expressway, which gives access to the M53 for the Wirral, and Liverpool via the Mersey Tunnels, and the M56 for Manchester.</p> <p>Bus services for Wrexham are in operation close to the development, and serves residents commuting into the city, and further afield to Chester.</p> <p>Wrexham has two railway stations: Wrexham General, and Wrexham Central, both of which are located about two miles away from Holt Vale. Wrexham General serves Chester, Birmingham, Liverpool Lime Street, Holyhead and Cardiff, while Wrexham Central has services to destinations including Shotton and Bidston.</p>

<p>Newly awarded its city status in 2022, Wrexham is culture-rich with a thriving music and arts scene, and a celebrated history that is being proudly preserved. The city of Wrexham is around a 5-minute drive, or a 30-minute walk from Holt Vale, putting all of its attractions within easy reach.</p> <p>Family-friendly things to do in Wrexham include visiting the Xplore! Science Discovery Centre, which regularly runs themed events and live science shows for children, and T? Pawb, an acclaimed multi-purpose centre which serves as a lively arts, music and community hub, and also incorporates a museum, gallery and independent market. The city centre also has a multiplex cinema and bowling alley, a popular amateur theatre, and a museum showcasing the intriguing legacy of the region.</p> <p>For football fans, Wrexham Association Football Club's stadium is about two miles from the development. The club has recently found fame after being purchased by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.</p> <p>Closer to home, Rhosnesni Leisure and Activity Centre is half a mile from Holt Vale, while Waterworld Leisure and Activity Centre is around five minutes' drive away; both centres offer swimming pools, gym facilities and group exercise classes.</p>

<p>A former market town, the city of Wrexham has retained a thriving independent shopping scene, with over 30 local businesses trading within the T? Pawb cultural centre, alongside a food court with a variety of cuisines. The Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre offers a choice of high street retailers and casual eateries, with a further selection on and around the Hope Street arcade.</p> <p>Wrexham's city centre also boasts a number of upmarket restaurants, including The Bank Wine Bar and Bistro, serving seasonal small plates, and Levant Kitchen and Bar which is reputed for its Sunday lunch menu and creative cocktails.</p> <p>Border Retail Park, which incorporates two large supermarkets as well as several big-name retailers, is about five minutes' drive from the Holt Vale development. For everyday groceries, there is a small convenience store just a short walk away.</p> <p>Chester city centre, which is less than a 30-minute drive from home, has several shopping centres including designer retailers and boutiques. Its historic and beautiful two-tiered shopping galleries, the Rows, are home to many unique shops, restaurants and bars, as well as England's oldest surviving shopfront.</p>
