The relation of one building to another and the difference in their heights create an interesting, hamlet like feel and all of the things that you would expect to find in Umbrian farmhouses are here; exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and ceiling tiles, fabulous carved stone fireplaces, external stairs and loggias, stone door and window surrounds. The wooden chalet, which was used by the owners whilst the main house was being restored, is perfectly habitable, located above the property and flanked by a chestnut wood. The property is rather isolated and the access road does require attention but these aspects are off-set by the stunning view and the extreme peace of the location.
