The original stone stairs lead to the first floor where one finds the master bedroom suite. There is a lovely fireplace in the bedroom as well as a designer bathtub. Whilst the modern sink and ceramic counter are visible in the room as well, the bidet and toilet are housed within a freestanding cube in the room.

In addition, there is an underground water storage tank of 10,000 litres that is fed by the roof downpipes; this water can be used to irrigate the garden. The entire house has under-floor radiant heat, and the ground and first floors are air-conditioned. Also included is a water softening system.
The garden area features a 3.6 x 12 metre swimming pool, and is planted with cypresses, olive trees, roses, lavender, cascading rosemary, and other flowering plants. There is a restored piggery that is currently used to store pool accessories and garden furniture during the winter months.
It only takes a few minutes to walk to all shops and facilities, and the house is within 10 minutes of the train station. It is possible to reach Florence on an early train in a total of less than 175 minutes.
Located on the northern edge of lake Trasimeno it is from Tuoro, where there is a cute little beach, that a ferry can be taken to the islands of Maggiore and Polvese. The actual town was originally medieval and it was in the surrounding area that the battle of Lake Trasimeno, between the Romans and the Hannibal led Carthaginians took place. The town is, like so many in Italy, divided into various quarters, and every year during the Ferragosto Torreggiano, the teams compete in order to win the Anfora della Vittoria. Close to the beach there is an open air sculpture museum with 27 works in pietra serena a grey stone that is typical of the area. The church of Santa Maria Maddalena was built towards the end of the XIV century and was reconstructed in the second half of the 18th century. Inside the church is a canvas by the Italian artist of the Futurist movement; Gerardo Dottori.
