The village also has a post office and a multi banco.

Caldas da Rainha is approximately 20 minutes away, Foz do Arelho is ten minutes drive, Lisbon and the International Airport are less than an hour away. If you don't want to travel into the town of Caldas there is a small town nearby; Alfeizerao. In Alfeizerao you will find doctors, dentists, pharmacy, market, butchers, florist, several cafes and restaurants, larger post office, bakeries, banks and a variety of other shops.
