All the flats are branching out on vast terraces, either South West or West oriented to enjoy sunsets on the Thau Lagoon or Lido beach. The building is in a high position first because of the natural setting of the plot of land and because it starts with 2 levels of parking thus offering dramatic views even from the first floors and even more dramatic for the top floors ones.
2 bdr units from 319 000 € to 375 000 €
3 bdr units 525 000 €
The development is one of the last building spots of Mount St Clair with both a sea and lagoon view. At the back of the development starts a natural area, part of a listed forest, planted in Mediterranean vegetation made of pine trees, cypresses, olive trees and all sorts of aromatic scrubland like rosemary and lavender. This really adds to the charm of the location. The beach is just down the hill at just 1.4 km for the closest one. All daily life amenities are also at hand either going down to the beach or heading towards the centre of Sete.
On the southern side of the Thau lagoon, the port-town of Sete and its iconic hilly Mount St Clair is contrasting with the surrounding flat and marshy landscape, as if rising from the sea. Sete is compared, maybe with some exaggerated pride, to Venice because of its many canals. Without being by far as impressive as its Italian sister it is an endearing port-town with a year round activity around its important fishing harbour and activity linked to the trade of wine. The residential part of Sete stretches on the flanks of the Mount St Clair overviewing both the Mediterranean and the Thau Lagoon thus bathed in a maritime feel. The presence of a listed forest crowning the top of the Mount St Clair adds to the charm of the district with the balmy scent of pines trees and peaceful atmosphere of Mediterranean vegetation. West of Sete starts a 7km sandy beach peppered here and there with chic beach clubs offering the opportunity to have lunch in the shade during the day or dining al fresco at night.
The Thau lagoon is a vast protected salt-water lagoon with crystal clear waters where the famous "Bouzigues oysters" are raised and is home to wild birds like white herons and pink flamingos. Therefore the Thau lagoon waters are pristine clean and clear, carefully supervised and controlled thus offering a safe environment for swimming and activities such as a sailing and kite surfing. The several villages settled on the shores of Thau Bassin, Meze, Bouzigues or Marseillan are all fairly close to the ideal of Southern France foreigners or French people may have in mind with a joyful "art de vivre", a perfect location, and a typical architecture. Yet the areas is not very well known, or at least it is just being discovered at present.
