This stately property is one of the great historical Majorcan estates and is located between the villages of Sa Cabaneta and Portol just several minutes from Palma.

Until the late nineteenth century the estate was devoted to farming. From that date onwards the focus moved to agricultural production in particular almond carob and olive trees as well as wheat and vineyards thereby producing oil and wine with its harvests.

The estate currently has about 200 “cuarteradas” (143 hectares) and is dedicated almost exclusively to the cultivation of almonds carob and sheep farming. An example of this is the planting of around 10000 almond trees over recent years.

The main house in the central area of the estate has a magnificent panoramic view over Sa Cabaneta the church of Sant Marcal and the estates of Son Veri and Son Sureda. The view extends over the western part of the Serra de Tramuntana and the city of Palma.

In front of the main façade of sober classicist style a large paved terrace provides access to the central clastra reminiscent of the stately courtyards of the urban palaces in Palma. Next to the main façade there are several auxiliary buildings in line used as warehouses amongst which the following stand out for their uniqueness: The “Tafona” (oil mill) made in living stone the “Celler” (the winery) which was in use until the 40s and the cowshed.

It has a small game reserve which is duly licensed.

One of the estate’s most striking and genuine buildings is the chapel which stands out for its baroque style and which has been consecrated to the “Mare de Deu” (Mother of God) since its construction.
