Zona Jandia (Municipio de Pajara)

Jandia is the most Southerly part of Fuerteventura and naturally protected from wind and waves making its wide golden beaches a popular holiday destination. Costa Calma to the North is 28 km away and the most Westerly tip of the island is 11 km with the secret beaches of Cofete accessible through the mountains.

Stretching for several kilometers, Jandia is made up of hotels and apart-hotels looking out over the beach to the Atlantic Ocean. Its wide boulevards are designed for pedestrians and cyclists alike and linking 6 different commercial centres each offering a wide choice of restaurants and bars plus a variety of clothes, jewellery and electronic shops and services.

Jandia also has its own 18 hole golf course nestled in the nearby hills behind the beach plus the village of Morro Jable. The ferry to Gran Canaria and marina is just a five minute drive away.

The population is mixed between local and international tourists and there is a number of different types of properties in the area including Villas, Apartments and Townhouses. Jandia and Morro Jable has a local market every Wednesday where you will find an abundance of stalls.
