Pralognan la Vanoise is a lovely village halfway between the Three Valleys ski resort and Paradiski. However, it is itself a ski resort and has ample slopes to keep the whole family busy, although it couldn’t be simpler to go skiing in the bigger more famous resorts. It is just 15 minutes to Champagny from where there is access to Paradiski and 40 minutes to Courchevel for skiing in the 3 valleys.
There are tennis courts, an ice rink, swimming pool and many other activities for the summer.
Walking is the best pastime in summer.
The village is mainly occupied by people who live there all year.

Due to the popularity of the alpine resorts, getting to the village from the U.K. Is very straight-forward. There are buses provided four times a day from Geneva airport, and the tgv from Paris and the Eurostar from St Pancras go right into town. Chambery airport is an hour away and Grenoble and Lyon airports are also easy to get to.
