Pretty Majella stone house in the historic centre of the medieval village of Sant-Eufemia a Majella which a wonderful village tucked in the wild nature of Abruzzo, where the kids still play on the road.
The townhouse is a portion of a building. Inside it is needs updating but outside it is in great condition with a renovated roof (in wood and ancient tiles), with new gutters and a new plaster. The work was carried out approximately 10 years ago.
The property is on three levels.
Basement - hosts a storage room the raised floor.
Ground floor - accessible from an external staircase it holds a dining/ kitchen room with a wonderful period fireplace and a bathroom.

Just a few km from the house there are the ski slopes of Passo San Leonardo, the enchanted village of Roccacaramanico and Caramanico Terme, the most important spa village of the centre of Italy.
Sant-eufemia A maiella - pescara province
Set in a panoramic position, Sant'Eufemia is within the Maiella National Park at 878 metres above sea level. It is halfway up Mount Rapina between the mountains of Maiella and Morrone in a wonderful natural environment. The area is surrounded by woods, valleys and rivers which are abundant in flora and fauna including bears.
There are several churches, palaces, the Ethnographic Museum and the rich Botanical Gardens to view and there are natural areas for relaxation and trails for hiking or mountain biking.
Within 20 minutes it is possible to ski in winter and the major town of Caramanico Terme, with all facilities, is only 10 minutes away. There are numerous bus links with adjacent centres.
Sant'Eufemia has a small population of just 269. The inhabitants are served with bars and restaurants as well as a Post Office, pharmacy and couple of food shops.
