Zoopla cements position as number one property website in London with launch of new marketing campaign

Zoopla is today unveiling a new marketing campaign in London to reinforce its position as the capital’s number one property website by number of property listings. Research shows that Zoopla has, on average, more listings (1) in London than any other property website and is also the first place Londoners think of when selling a home, with 54% spontaneous brand awareness amongst London sellers looking to find an agent (2).

To capitalise on its ‘win at moving’ brand message, the London marketing campaign includes 100 branded taxis in Zoopla’s iconic purple with messaging highlighting that Zoopla has ‘London’s biggest choice of homes’.

This will be supported by out-of-home advertising in key commuter hubs and rail stations across the city including London Bridge, Charing Cross, Blackfriars, Waterloo and Victoria.  Alongside driving awareness around Zoopla’s share of listings in London, the campaign also builds on Zoopla’s established strength in valuations, with 67% of consumers polled thinking of Zoopla first for property valuation nationwide (3).

The campaign is expected to reach over 5.6 million potential movers across London and south-eastern England with additional messaging highlighting the expertise of agents on Zoopla featured in tactical placements across regional commuter hubs like Milton Keynes, Guildford, Reading, Portsmouth and Oxford.

The campaign will also run across a range of high-impact digital channels including Facebook, Instagram, Microsoft and Google networks in both regions, targeting an audience of movers and further driving Zoopla’s strength in listings and as the first place Londoners think of to sell a home. This will deliver more high quality sellers to agents, demonstrating Zoopla’s commitment to drive increased ROI.

A spokesperson from estate agency Chestertons says: “As one of London’s largest estate agencies, we offer thousands of properties for rent and sale across the capital and it is essential that we have the right tools to get every property in front of the right audience. With their powerful platform and brand strength in London, Zoopla is a key part of this and our strong relationship ensures the best result for our clients, buyers and sellers.”

Joby Russell, VP of Marketing at Zoopla said: “Zoopla has a leading position in London and with this campaign in the capital, we’re doubling down to drive motivated movers to find their next home on Zoopla and connecting  these buyers to our agents and housebuilders. Across the South East, we’re also tailoring our activity to drive high-quality vendor volumes for local agents, to help deliver a great return on investment for customers as their essential marketing partner.”

Nathan Khider, founder of Nathan K Real Estate said:"As a brand in London Zoopla is very strong, particularly as it’s one of the main portals for renters and younger first-time buyers in the city. I think Zoopla is extremely good value for money. I’ve been working with Zoopla for three years now and properties get so many hits and enquiries for rentals or sales, and even more for lettings.”
