Description

Beautifully presented, larger than average 3 bed house in a delightful location. The property has been modernised to a high standard with new kitchen, bathroom and redecoration throughout.

At the front is a large porch leading into the hall. To the left is the lounge with a window to the front and door to the conservatory at the rear. The conservatory is really a second reception room as it is solidly built from brick with large windows and a double glazed roof.

To the right of the hall is the utility room which leads round into the kitchen. This is all constructed to a high standard using quality units and includes a large breakfast bar together with plenty of worktop and storage space. The hob and oven are built in and there is space for your own tall fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Upstairs are two good size double bedrooms and a single, each with built in wardrobes. The third bedroom also has a built in desk. The bathroom has a shower over the P shaped bath with a curved shower screen and the toilet is separate. The loft is well insulated and boarded to provide storage.

The rear garden is accessed from the conservatory or the kitchen. This is mostly laid to lawn with flower beds each side containing various shrubs. There is also a patio area and a good quality shed/workshop with power and light. The house and garden enjoy an elevated position enabling a pleasant view across the nearby allotments.

Coming from central Southampton towards Bitterne, head up the dual carriageway round the 'Bitterne bypass' and fork left onto Bitterne Road towards Hedge End. Take the second turning on the right (half way down the hill) into Bath Road then immediately left into Keynsham Road. Follow the road down round a sharp right hand turn and the house will be found on the right where the road turns right again up the hill.

Parents of secondary school aged children will be happy to know that this house is within the area served by the sought after Bitterne Park School. There are also good primary schools nearby.
