Lets Move charge no tenancy application, administration, credit check, inventory or legal document fees as per The Tenant Fees Act 2019. The tenant is expected to pay rent as per the terms of the tenancy agreement and a deposit prior to moving into a property.
A holding deposit of 1 weeks rent may be requested and a date by which the agreement needs to be completed will be set when you apply to rent a property. In the event that the deadline for the agreement is not met the holding deposit will become refundable unless one of the events listed in Schedule 2 of the Tenant Fees Act 2019 occurs.
Lets Move reserve the right to charge during the tenancy where the tenant fails a contractual obligation or breaches the terms of the tenancy, for example the replacement of lost keys or missed contractor appointments. A draft tenancy agreement will be made available to all tenants to review prior to a holding deposit being taken which details your contractual obligations.
Lets Move is a member of the Client Money Protect Scheme. Lets Move is also a member of the Property Redress Scheme.
Water consumption is based on average water usage for the predicted occupancy of the property based on the number of bedrooms.
Total annual consumption (in cubic meters) is then averaged into a monthly cost.
Note: If you have 2 separate suppliers for water and sewage, you may receive 2 separate bills.
The Council Tax cost displayed is based on the council tax band and on the basis of 2 adults living at the property. The monthly cost shown excludes any discounts and is rounded to the nearest pound.
Full information on Council Tax discount entitlements can be found on the Gov.UK's website.
