There is a footpath to Robert Ashton Park, next door with trails, a pond, picnic area and a childrens playground and if you go right out of our front door there is Meltham Pleasure Grounds, a wooded glade with a bubbling stream and footpaths.

Meltham Village is just a short walk away where you'll find pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, butchers, bakers etc plus 2 good sized supermarkets and petrol station. Further afield as you explore the rural countryside you'll find plenty of walks, trails, pub grub and beautiful landscapes with views across this popular part of West Yorkshire and the Pennine Hills

There is a Greenway at the side of Morrisons which follows the old railway track and comes out at the far side of Meltham Mills and just a few minutes from our property. On route is Folly Dolly Falls.

Further afield is the Pennine Way and other well used public footpaths and bridleways.

Buses run from the main village to our nearest town Huddersfield and there are other services around the local area.
