Chapel Cottage is a lovely semi-detached slate roof period cottage in a central village location close to amenities including the post office, shop, Cross Hotel public house and the well regarded primary school.

The cottage is well-presented throughout with tasteful decoration, neutral carpets and an easy to maintain garden to the front which is both private and South-west facing. Copplestone is a popular Mid Devon village adjoining the A377 Exeter /
Barnstaple road about 4 miles west of Crediton. The Cathedral City of
Exeter is about 12 miles to the south east with excellent communications
including the M5 motorway, main line rail stations and its airport to
the east of the city. To the south west and the north east of
Copplestone are the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor, renowned for
their spectacular scenery with excellent facilities for walking, riding
and fishing. The village has an old Inn, post office / general stores
and a modern primary school. There is a bus service through the village
to Exeter via Crediton. The village also has a railway station with
trains every hour to both Barnstaple and Exeter. In the village stands
an ancient granite cross which is mentioned in a Saxon charter of the
year 974. This cross is virtually in the centre of the County.

Directions Upon entering Copplestone from Crediton (A377) proceed down
into the village, passing the post office on your right. Follow the
one-way system around to the right and right again over the railway
bridge and back into the village. Chapel Cottage will be found on the
left just past the village stores and opposite the chapel.
